That Christian Science is the true business education, because it meets the needs of all the people, irrespective of race, color or creed, when rightly understood and practiced, was the statement of Charles I. Ohrenstein of this city in a public lecture this noon at the Empire Theater.
The speaker, who is a member of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Board of Lectureship in Boston, Mass., brought out that the word "business" covers every activity in human existence which provides for the various needs of mankind, whether it be the head of a nation or state, industrial worker, mine magnate, laborer in the street or loving mother and wife in the home. All have their separate and individual businesses to look after.
To attend to this business successfully and harmoniously, with the least friction or wear and tear, with the greatest conservation of energy, health and life for all would require a system of education and one of higher order than any now prevalent; for it cannot be said that any generally accepted educational system enables people to carry on their business in the way indicated, according to Mr. Ohrenstein.
